They arrived late yesterday evening and we did the usual looking around for somewhere to eat that usually ends up with an extensive tour of the Barrio Santa Cruz until we find a place with a free table. We were eventually seated at Casa Roman and had a very nice meal there. And later on we went for a nightcap on the rooftop terraza of the Hotel Doña Maria.
I’m so happy they’re here … for two whole weeks!

It really is great. S & S are out doing stuff on their own a lot, but it’s nice to meet up for a cold beer or a tapa snack and a chat. Basically, it’s just nice knowing that they’re there … or here … well, you know what I mean.

Wishing I could wander in a foreign city and while away the evenings on a rooftop, snacking on tapas and wine…jealous, that’s what I am!
